Where do i Begin?

Thank you for joining me on this journey and my very first blog.

I am not really sure where to start or if the start should be the beginning or from the present day?

I am still trying to figure it all out myself, but wherever I decide, it will be a journey and one that I want to share with you all. Many of you will have shared very similar experiences and feelings and will be able to relate, but like me the journey will be as individual as the people we are.

I feel sharing this blog is important as it provides reassurance that there isn’t one way to have and deal with Anxiety, Depression or any other type of mental health issue, it effects us all differently and the impact it has can be life changing . Having a network of people that you can talk to and feel safe discussing these issues with are so important for maintaining our recovery. It will help through the tough times, providing the reassurance we need when we feel there is none.

I am not nor do I claim to be a writer, counsellor or any type of therapist, I am simply someone that is living with Anxiety and Depression .

I am a person that has always felt very level headed and had life all figured out, never for a second did I think I would suffer with any issue related to mental health. I was always the person people came too with their problems, the shoulder to cry on, the one helping to find the solutions. Then just like that it’s me that needs the help and I am the one struggling with life.

Anxiety has found me, all I want now is to escape it!
