5 things about me you probably didnt know

This weeks blog post has been so many different ideas, which appears to be something I do quite a lot. I sit down at my laptop with an idea for a blog and begin writing, on a good day the the blog I post is the original idea but most of the time it is the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or sometimes even the 5th idea, and most of the time its not that I feel the other four ideas are bad ones its just that I don’t feel quite in the right headspace to write it the way I want, no matter how many times I try I just can’t get it right, and that’s fine because there will come a time when I will want to go back to it and manage to write it just like that without even giving it a second thought. (Let me know in the comments if this is something you can relate to or if it’s just me?)

I decided that after writing a few different types of posts I wanted to change it up little and share with you guys a few facts about me you didn’t already know, I hope you enjoy this blog if this is the one that actually get’s published!

FACT #1 I gave up smoking 3 years ago after being a smoker for 17 years, I suddenly decided at the age of 30 that giving up was something I really wanted and needed to do. Actually I surprised myself and managed it straight away, 3 years on and i’ve never looked back, it is by far one of the best decisions I’ve made.

FACT #2 I am so sensitive and emotional that I am unable to watch any kind of hospital, doctor, or animal documentaries because I can’t deal with seeing animals or humans suffering, hurt, injured or dying. Its not something any one wants to see, but for me I honestly just break down, I become a complete mess and struggle to get past what i’ve seen, I feel like I hold on to things and then allow them to impact on my mood and emotions.

FACT #3 I can not watch horrors or thrillers because I hate being scared and don’t like the element of suspense or surprise, even the music they play In those types of films gives me the chills.

FACT #4 Growing up I always wanted to be an actress but having little confidence and no self-belief always stopped me from pursuing that dream. Julia Roberts is my all time favourite, and it was watching her films growing up that made me want to be an actress.

FACT #5 I am a HUGE Disney fan, if I want to feel safe and just escape the world for a while a Disney film with a cuppa is my go too. I love all the new remakes but I do love a classic like Mary Poppins, Petes Dragon, Toy Story and my favourite Disney princess film is 100% Beauty and the Beast.
